The Strategic Unit plays a role and is responsible for:

• Activate strategic planning, coordination with current conditions.
• Conduct research on issues and challenges for improving services and performance of the Department in particular.
• Preparation of a new organizational structure to support the implementation of the Department's strategic planning.
• Monitor the implementation and achievement of all action plans and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that lead to the Department's "Core Business".
• Reviewing all action plans that have been or will be implemented to ensure they are running smoothly.
